Terms & Conditions
1. Services Provided
The Proper Pup provides professional dog wedding attendant services, which may include (but are not limited to): transportation, ceremony participation, photos, attire assistance, supervision, and care during contracted hours. Services are customized per client agreement.
2. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable retainer (25% of the total package price) is required to secure your date, The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the event. Bookings are not confirmed until the retainer is received.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Retainers are non-refundable due to date reservation.
- Cancellations made 14+ days prior: remaining balance is not required.
- Clients must provide a detailed timeline prior to the event, Delays exceeding the agreed service time may result in additional fees.
- Cancellations less than 14 days: full balance may be due.
- If The Proper Pup must cancel due to emergency, a full refund will be issued.
4. Dog Requirements
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, non-aggressive toward people and other animals, comfortable in public environments, and have proper identification.C nClients must disclose any behavioral issues, medical conditions, or triggers in advance.
5. Health & Safety
The Proper Pup reserves the right to refuse or stop services if a dog poses a safety risk. In the event of a medical emergency, we will seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense. Clients must provide emergency contact information and preferred veterinarian.
6. Liability
The Proper Pup is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death of any pet unless caused by gross negligence, Clients accept full responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog(s) to people, property, or other animals. Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Proper Pup from any claims arising from their pet’s behavior.
7. Venue & Vendor Coordination
Clients are responsible for ensuring the venue allows dogs. The Proper Pup is not responsible for restrictions imposed by venues, planners, or coordinators. Cooperation with photographers, planners, and vendors will be made but cannot be guaranteed.
8. Weather & Environmental Conditions
Payments can be made via credit card, ACH transfer, Zelle, or other mutually agreed methods.
Services may be modified based on extreme weather (heat, cold, storms) to ensure the dog’s safety, The Proper Pup reserves the right to adjust handling, timing, or participation accordingly.
9. Timing & Delays
Clients must provide a detailed timeline prior to the event, Delays exceeding the agreed service time may result in additional fees.
10. Photography & Marketing
The Proper Pup may use photos/videos of your dog from the event for marketing and social media unless otherwise requested in writing.
11. Equipment & Supplies
Clients are responsible for providing: properly fitted leash/harness/collar, any special attire (unless included in package), and foed, treats, or comfort items if needed,
12. Right to Refuse Service
The Proper Pup reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe, dog behavior is undisclosed or dangerous, or terms of agreement are violated.
13. Agreement
By booking services with The Proper Pup, the client acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined above.
