Liability & Responsibility Agreement
The Proper Pup Wedding PET Attendant Services
At The Proper Pup, the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every pet is our top priority. By booking and using our services, clients acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. PET Owner Responsibility
The client (pet owner) confirms that they retain full responsibility for their pet(s) at all times, including but not limited to behavior, health, and temperament.
The client agrees that their pet:
- Is non-aggressive and safe to handle
- Is up to date on vaccinations
- Is properly trained or manageable in a public/event setting
2. Assumption Of Risk
The client understands that the presence of animals at events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Injury to persons or other animals
- Property damage
- Unexpected behavior due to stress or environment
By using our services, the client voluntarily assumes all such risks.
3. Limitation Of Liability
The Proper Pup, its owner(s), staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:
- Any injury, damage, loss, or expense caused by the client's pet
- Any incidents involving third parties, guests, or vendors
- Any illness, injury, or stress experienced by the pet during or after the event
4. Event Venue Responsibility
The client acknowledges that the event venue and its staff are not responsible for:
- The supervision, care, or control of any pet
- Any damages or incidents involving the pet
The client agrees to comply with all venue rules and policies regarding animals.
5. Emergency Care
In the event of an emergency, The Proper Pup will make reasonable efforts to contact the client.
If the client cannot be reached, the client authorizes us to seek veterinary care if deemed necessary.
All associated costs will be the responsibility of the client.
6. Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Proper Pup from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal actions arising from their pet’s participation in the event.
7. Agreement
By booking services with The Proper Pup, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Liability & Responsibility Agreement.
